Reimbursement and Development Agreement — Fate Memorial Mixed Use Project

  • Council discussed a proposed agreement related to a mixed-use project at the southeast corner of I-30 and Memorial Parkway.
  • Motion made to direct staff to prepare a revised development agreement excluding multifamily residential housing.

  • City Secretary’s Note: The revised agreement was not brought back for consideration because the zoning request for the property was denied.

Zoning Case ZR-24-004 — Planned Development Request

  • Public hearing opened at 8:01 p.m. and closed at 8:07 p.m.
  • Applicant representatives and city staff presented information.
  • Public comments were received in opposition.
  • Motion made to deny the zoning change request.

  • Nays: Megyesi
  • Result: Zoning request denied

Ordinance — FY 2024–2025 City Budget

  • Council considered adoption of the city budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2024.
  • A request was made to remove $5,000 allocated to the Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County.

Ordinance — Ad Valorem Tax Levy

Resolution — Records Management System Purchase
