  • Approval of minutes from the March 21, 2024 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.
  • Approval of a preliminary plat for a 9.9-acre tract subdivided into five commercial lots.
    • Applicant: Clay Cristy, Clay Moore Engineering
    • Location: Northwest corner of SH 66 and Ben Payne Road
    • Legal Description: ABS A0120, R Irvine, Tract 4 (Parcel No. 11181), 9.9 acres
    • Case Number: PP-23-001

Action:

  • Motion to approve the consent agenda made by Commissioner Kiser.
  • Seconded by Commissioner Rathje.
  • Vote:
    • Ayes: Vice-Chairman Wiemokly; Commissioners Kiser, Rathje, Overstreet
    • Nays: None
  • The motion carried unanimously.

Note:

  • Commissioner Jackson arrived at 6:02 p.m.

Director of Planning and Development Services Report

Reported items included:

  • Associate Planner Robbie Highfield attended the ESRI Go Design Conference and presented City GIS mapping work.
  • The trails and connectivity plan is moving forward.
  • The Texas APA Conference is scheduled to take place in October in Allen, Texas.
  • Staff are working with developers on the Lafayette Crossing development.
  • Planning Technician Sara Juarez will be leaving the City of Fate.
