Future Land Use Plan Map Amendment — Case FLUP-22-001

  • Application to amend approximately 70.32 acres from “Rural Reserve” to “Business & Innovation Center” on the south side of Riding Club Road between Stodghill Road and Ben Payne Road.
  • Planning and Zoning Commission recommendation: Denial.
  • Public hearing conducted.

  • Motion to approve the amendment with the exclusion of one parcel failed to achieve the required supermajority vote.

Preliminary Plat — Iron Ranch Addition (Case PP-21-004)

  • Preliminary plat to consolidate three existing lots into one and extend a public water line for a proposed commercial suite and custom car garage development.
  • Planning and Zoning Commission recommendation: Approval with conditions.

Action

  • Resolution No. R-2022-020 approved.
  • Vote: Unanimous approval.

Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) Boundaries — Collin County

  • Discussion held regarding the City of Fate’s ETJ boundaries.
  • Council consensus was to take no action.
